Reading the Institute Progress Report

Where to Find It
From your /institute/admin panel → Student Progress Reports. The report aggregates data from every active student.
Top-Level Metrics
- Active students — logged in within the last 14 days.
- Total practice attempts (this month) — across all students.
- Total mock exams completed (this month).
- Average predicted PTE score across active students.
Per-Student Breakdown
Each student row shows:
- Name + username.
- Last active date.
- Practice attempts (last 30 days + lifetime).
- Mock exams taken (count + average score).
- Predicted PTE score (overall + per-module).
- Weakest module flag.
- Days remaining on plan.
Weak-Area Identification
The report flags every student's weakest module. Use this for targeted classroom interventions:
- If 60%+ of your batch is weak in Listening, schedule a Listening masterclass.
- If individual students are weak in Pronunciation specifically, suggest 1-on-1 sessions or focused recordings.
Attendance Tracking
- "Days since last login" highlights disengaged students.
- "Practice streak" shows consistent practitioners (motivation cue).
- Filter "inactive 7+ days" to surface follow-up candidates.
Score Trend Charts
For each student, a small sparkline shows their predicted score trajectory over the last 30 days. Improving = green; flat = grey; declining = red. Use this to identify students who need an intervention.
Export Options
- CSV export of all data for external analysis (Google Sheets, Excel).
- PDF export of individual student reports for parent meetings or printed records.
Best Practices
- Review weekly — Monday morning identifies which students disengaged over the weekend.
- Set classroom goals — e.g. "everyone hits PTE 65 predicted by month-end".
- Celebrate top performers in class — drives motivation across the batch.
- Reach out to inactive students personally within 7 days of inactivity — recovery rate drops sharply after that.
