Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- You must hold an active ClearMyPTE student account (B2C). Institute accounts and admin accounts are not eligible to participate as referrers.
- You must have completed phone number verification.
- Your account must be in good standing — no fraud flags, no chargebacks, no policy violations within the last 90 days.
What Counts as a Valid Referral
A referral is "valid" only when all of the following are true:
- The referee created their account by clicking your unique referral link or entering your code at signup. Codes added after signup do not retroactively apply.
- The referee converted to a paid plan — free signups do not earn commission.
- The referee's payment cleared and was not refunded within the standard 7-day refund window.
- The referee is a genuinely separate person — different name, different phone number, different payment method, and ideally different device.
Self-Referrals Are Not Allowed
You cannot refer yourself, your own duplicate accounts, or family members sharing the same payment method. Common signals we detect:
- Same device fingerprint as the referrer
- Same payment method or card BIN
- Same IP address at signup and at payment
- Same phone number country code + recent activity overlap
Self-referrals are reversed and the commission removed from your wallet. Repeated abuse may suspend your participation in the program.
Other Prohibited Behaviour
- Spamming referral links on platforms where you do not have permission to post.
- Misrepresenting ClearMyPTE pricing, scoring, or guarantees in your referral messaging.
- Bidding on ClearMyPTE-related keywords in paid search ads to redirect traffic via your link.
- Coupon-stacking automation or bot-driven signups.
Reversals
If a referee's payment is refunded, charged back, or voided within 7 days, the corresponding commission is automatically reversed from your wallet. You will see a clear ledger entry showing the reversal.
Changes to Terms
ClearMyPTE may modify the program rates, milestones, or terms at any time with reasonable notice (typically 14 days). Earnings already credited to your wallet are not affected by future rate changes.
Disputes
Email support with the referee's name and signup date. We will share the underlying tracking events and explain any decisions.
