Stamp 1G — Post-Study Work Visa
Graduates from Irish institutions can apply for Stamp 1G (1 year for level 8 graduates, 2 years for level 9 graduates and above). PTE doesn't directly determine eligibility — you need to have completed the qualification — but your original visa application required English proficiency.
Section Requirements
Most Irish universities specify no section below X, similar to UK pattern. UCC is the most lenient (no section below 50); TCD and UCD require 56–59 minimums.
Strategy
- Check your specific program's requirement at the university's admission portal.
- Buffer 5+ above the minimum for safety.
- Stay balanced across sections — Irish universities are strict on section minimums.
