Troubleshoot missing OTPs by checking WhatsApp, verifying your number, and using the resend option.

Why Is My Exam Score Still Processing?

Speaking and Writing scores use AI evaluation that takes a few moments — Reading and Listening scores are instant.

What's the Difference Between Practice and Mock Exam?

Practice Mode is unlimited and untimed for skill building; Mock Exams simulate the real PTE with timed sections.

Can I Retake an Exam?

You can retake exams if your plan allows multiple attempts — attempts only count when you complete the exam.

What is the passing score for PTE?

There is no universal passing score for PTE — the requirement depends entirely on the university, employer, or visa you are applying for.

Is PTE easier than IELTS?

It depends on your strengths. PTE is fully computer-based and AI-scored — more predictable. IELTS has a face-to-face speaking interview that some prefer.

Can I cancel my PTE score after taking it?

No — your PTE score is automatically released to your Pearson account. You can choose not to send a poor score to any institution though.

How many times can I retake PTE?

No limit on PTE attempts — but you must wait for your previous score to be released (typically 2-5 days) before booking the next one. Each attempt costs full fee.

Why is my mock score different from my practice score?

Mock exams use stricter, end-to-end scoring across the full 2-hour test, while practice mode scores each question in isolation. Mock scores are closer to the real PTE.

Why does my Speaking score fluctuate so much?

Speaking AI is highly sensitive to microphone quality, ambient noise, and pacing consistency. Standardise your setup and you will see scores stabilise quickly.

Should I take a mock exam before or after practice?

Take one mock first to baseline yourself, then 2-3 weeks of focused practice on identified weaknesses, then weekly mocks to track progress. Daily mocks burn you out.
