Can I Retake an Exam?
Retaking Mock Exams
Whether you can retake a mock exam depends on your subscription plan and the number of attempts allocated for that specific exam.
How Retakes Work
- Attempts remaining — Each exam card shows how many attempts you have used and how many remain. If you have attempts left, a "Retake" button will appear on the completed exam card.
- No attempts left — When all attempts are exhausted, the exam card becomes faded and displays "No Attempts Left". You cannot retake this exam on your current plan.
- Same questions — When you retake an exam, you will see the same questions as before. This is by design, allowing you to measure genuine improvement on identical content.
When Do Attempts Count?
An important detail: attempts are only counted when you complete an exam, not when you start it. This means you can start an exam, pause it, and resume later without using up an attempt. The attempt is consumed only when you submit the final section.
Institute Students
If you are an institute student (registered through an educational institution), your attempt limits are managed by your institute. Many institutes provide unlimited attempts, but this varies. Check with your institute administrator if you are unsure about your allocation.
To get more attempts on exhausted exams, you can upgrade your subscription plan. Higher-tier plans often come with more attempts per exam and access to additional exams.
