Refund and Cancellation Policy
The Short Version
- Within 7 days of purchase, 50% refund if you have not used the platform.
- After 7 days, no refunds.
- Cancellation stops auto-renewal but does not refund the current term.
Refund Window — First 7 Days
If you change your mind within seven calendar days of subscribing, you can request a 50% refund, provided you have not used any practice questions, mock exams, or premium features. "Used" means at least one item has been attempted on your account.
Why 50% and not 100%? Payment processor fees, GST already remitted, and content access costs are non-recoverable once the order is fulfilled.
What Counts as Usage
- Attempting any premium practice question
- Starting (not necessarily finishing) a mock exam
- Downloading any premium PDF or material
- Accessing AI feedback on a previous attempt
Free-tier features (browsing the test format, reading help articles, viewing your dashboard) do not count as usage.
After 7 Days — No Refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable after the seven-day window closes, regardless of how much of the plan remains unused. We make this clear at checkout because PTE prep platforms' content costs are front-loaded — most resources are unlocked the moment you subscribe.
Cancellation — Different from Refund
Cancellation means turning off auto-renewal. It does not refund the current paid term. You keep access until the term expires, then lose access at renewal date with no further charge.
To cancel auto-renewal:
- Open your profile
- Go to Subscription
- Click "Cancel auto-renewal" and confirm
- You will receive an email confirmation
How to Request a Refund
Refunds are not self-serve. Email support with:
- Your registered email and order ID
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund
Eligible refunds are processed within 7–10 business days back to the original payment method. Wallet-funded portions, if any, return to your wallet not your bank.
