How Referral Credits Reach Your Wallet

Every time someone signs up using your referral code and upgrades to a paid plan, you earn an INR commission. The commission lands in your ClearMyPTE wallet automatically — no manual claim, no waiting period beyond the referee's payment clearing (usually under an hour).

How Much You Earn

Wallet Auto-Apply on Next INR Purchase

When you check out for any INR-priced plan or top-up, your wallet balance is automatically applied to reduce the amount payable. You do not need to enter a coupon code or click any "use wallet" button — the wallet draws down first, and your card is charged only for the remainder.

Example:

Plan price: ₹2,360 (₹2,000 base + 18% GST)
Wallet balance: ₹500
Card is charged: ₹1,860
Wallet balance after: ₹0

INR-Only — Important

Wallet credit is denominated in Indian Rupees and applies only to INR-billed orders. If you switch your account currency to AUD, USD, GBP, EUR, or CAD on the pricing page, your wallet balance does not appear at checkout because it cannot be converted.

This is a hard rule for two reasons: (1) FX rates fluctuate daily and we cannot guarantee a fair conversion, and (2) GST already remitted on the original referral commissions cannot be reversed.

If you regularly shop in foreign currencies but still want to use wallet credit, switch back to INR for that single purchase — your currency preference will reset back on the next order.

Wallet Credit and GST

The wallet balance is your base amount after GST has been remitted to the government. Spending wallet credit on a new INR plan still attracts 18% GST on the new plan's base price — see GST on Indian payments.
