Switching Your Pricing Currency

Localised Pricing

ClearMyPTE displays subscription prices in your local currency so you can see the actual amount your card will be charged — no surprise FX conversions at checkout. The currency is auto-detected from your IP on first visit, but you can override it.

Supported Currencies

INR — Indian Rupee
AUD — Australian Dollar
CAD — Canadian Dollar
GBP — British Pound
EUR — Euro
AED — UAE Dirham
USD — fallback for every other country

Each currency has its own native price (not a live FX conversion of INR), tuned to local purchasing power and payment-processor fees.

How to Change It

Open the Pricing page.
Look for the currency dropdown in the top-right of the plan cards (it shows your current currency code, e.g. "INR").
Pick the currency you want — prices recalculate immediately.
Your choice is remembered for the rest of your session and applied at checkout.

Cross-Currency Upgrade Restriction

One important rule: you cannot upgrade or extend a plan in a different currency from the one you originally purchased in. If you bought your starter plan in INR, your upgrade and renewal must also be in INR. This is a payment-processor limitation, not a ClearMyPTE policy — Stripe and Razorpay do not allow mixing currencies on the same subscription.

If you have moved countries and need to switch currency, contact support before purchasing. We can cancel the current plan and re-issue it in the new currency.

Payment Methods Per Currency

INR: UPI, NetBanking, all major Indian cards via Razorpay.
AUD / CAD / GBP / EUR / USD / AED: Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay supported on mobile.

Why We Built This

Originally everything was priced in INR with a Stripe FX conversion. International students were paying 2–4% extra in invisible conversion fees. The launch of native currencies removed that. Read the announcement: International Payments Launched.
