Can I change my plan mid-subscription?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time — but the timing of when the change takes effect depends on whether you are upgrading or downgrading.

Upgrades take effect immediately. When you move to a higher plan (e.g. from Monthly to Quarterly, or from Standard to Premium), you get the new features and quotas instantly. We calculate a pro-rata credit for the unused days on your current plan and deduct that from the cost of the new plan, so you only pay the difference. No money is wasted.

Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. When you move to a cheaper plan, your current paid period continues uninterrupted at the higher tier until it expires. Once it does, the cheaper plan kicks in and the lower price applies from the next billing cycle. We don't refund the unused premium portion — but you keep all the premium benefits until the original plan would have expired anyway.

How do I actually switch plans?

Go to your profile page and click "Change Plan", or visit /pricing and select your new plan — the system detects you are an existing subscriber and applies pro-rata pricing automatically. For full details on renewals and upgrades, see Renewing or Upgrading Your Plan.
