Is a ClearMyPTE score accepted as proof of English proficiency?

No. A ClearMyPTE practice score or AI-predicted score is not accepted by universities, employers, immigration departments, or any professional body as proof of English proficiency. Only an official PTE Academic (or PTE Core) score report issued by Pearson after taking the real test at an authorised test centre is accepted.

Our predicted score is a useful indicator of where you currently stand and how close you are to your target — many of our students report it lands within ±5 points of their actual Pearson score. But it is not, and never will be, an official credential.

Then how should I use my ClearMyPTE score?

Treat it as a private benchmark. Use it to decide when you are ready to book the real exam — typically once you are scoring at least 5 points above your target, consistently, across two or more mock attempts. See Understanding Your Predicted Score.

Where can I send my official PTE score?

From your Pearson account after the real test, you can send your official score to unlimited institutions for free. See PTE Score Validity and Sending Scores.
