Can two people share one ClearMyPTE account?

No, account sharing is not allowed — and even if you could technically log in from two devices, you would be sabotaging both users' learning. Here is why each account must belong to exactly one person.

Our AI calibrates everything per user. Your predicted score, your weak-module diagnostics, your question difficulty curve, and the AI feedback tone are all built from the historical pattern of your attempts. The moment a second voice or a second writing style enters the data, the model starts averaging across two very different speakers — predictions become noise, weak-module recommendations point in two directions at once, and neither user gets useful guidance.

Specifically: if user A has strong Speaking and weak Writing, and user B is the opposite, the shared account looks "balanced" — and the AI never recommends focused practice for either real weakness. Both users plateau.

What if we both want to prep together?

We get it — couples and siblings often prep for migration together. Our recommendation is one personal account each. If cost is a concern, ask support about our family or duo discount options.

Is sharing a Terms of Service violation?

Yes. Section 4 of our ToS prohibits account sharing. We rarely enforce this aggressively, but for institutes specifically, sharing is grounds for immediate suspension.
